This was a great day, drawing at the height of summer at Arcadia Garden.
The smouldering reds, pinks and oranges of the dancing blooms reminded me of a summer festival, a joyful array of vitality and colour!
Bupleurum Longifolium is a plant I had not come across before, it is threaded through the dry garden area bringing greens and golds and rich rusty reds to the landscape

Presentation - Framed in neutral coloured, painted wooden scooped frame.
Triple mounted with gap between paper and mount for collection of pastel dust. Glazed in 3mm picture glass.
